Moodak's first demo single Supersound (2004) was embraced by Fret Magazine ("It's a Hit!") and played regularly by local and national radio stations such as 3FM and Kink FM.
In 2006 Moodak recorded their first official album Step Into This Life with sound wizards Mystic Machine from Nijmegen. It was praised by MusicFrom.nl ("Dance to this music, or use it as a soundtrack of your evening") and OOR.nl ("A tasteful, dripping orgy between the gentlemen of Air and the lady of Moloko. Indeed: Moodak is Hooverphonic's sister").
Following Step Into This Life, Moodak captured a spot in the Lowlands Top 25 of the National Popinstitute and the Underground Top 5 of the Dutch leading music magazine OOR.

Their latest release Throwing The Plates was created with Lars J. Brouwer and Erik van der Horst of the Production and Composition department of Utrecht School of Arts. This duo not only produced and mixed the three new songs, but also made a remix of every track.
