Elivava's role models are South Africa's most successful performer and vocalist Marriam Makeba, for her singing style, depth and boldness, in particular Makeba's ability to immerse herself into her songs. she also respects musical legend Billie Holiday, who Elivava used as her study piece whilst learning jazz techniques and skills, her admiration for the outstanding jazz singer grew from then.
After working as a background singer with most of the top and popular artists of Ghana, Elivava's debut as a soloist came in june 2005 at Fete de la musique, a music event held at Alliance Francaise Ghana.
She worked with renowned artist AFRO MOSES IN THE STUDIO ON THE SONG WONKWA AND WENT ON A TOURED BAHRAIN WITH HIM , He also wanted her to come to Australia for his recent Concerts in Queensland and New South Wales but due to previous committments could not take the offer.
