I'm Sonia from Spain. I was born in Ponferrada (Leon), a city full of history in the northwest of Spain. I moved to Barcelona when I was a baby and I've been living in this wonderful city since then till now. I’m a teacher of Spanish, but my real world has always been the music.

Recently I was one of the winners of a contest of Tribe of Noise and Getty Images Music which includes 3 original songs of my own in Spanish.

I am an entirely self-taught artist who has made herself. I started to play music with "Long drink", a quartet where I had much experience performing live, playing jazz, bossa, soul and classic pop-rock.

Hi everybody,

I'm Sonia from Spain. I was born in Ponferrada (Leon), a city full of history in the northwest of Spain. I moved to Barcelona when I was a baby and I've been living in this wonderful city since then till now. I’m a teacher of Spanish, but my real world has always been the music.

Recently I was one of the winners of a contest of Tribe of Noise and Getty Images Music which includes 3 original songs of my own in Spanish.

I am an entirely self-taught artist who has made herself. I started to play music with "Long drink", a quartet where I had much experience performing live, playing jazz, bossa, soul and classic pop-rock.
Two years later and in search of a more intimate project, I set up the duo of versions "B Sides (Caras B)" with a talented keyboardist with whom I played melodic pop style of all ages, writing and performing our own songs too.

Afer this, I joined the band "La señorita Gray", a trio formed by a peculiar sax, a sensitive guitar, and me in the vocals. We performed classics covers, pop and rock style, with a fully acoustic staging, full of elegance and sensitivity.

My desire to grow like an artist made me determine on creating and composing on my own, and so my first studio song "No juegues más conmigo" was released in 2005.
Two years later, I was recording in Barcelona with another producer, three new songs of my own, two in spanish and one in english: "No puedo resistir", "Que quiere una mujer" and "Little star".

In 2009 I was produced a full album in english called "A change is coming" which includes styles such as pop, dance, soul, ballads.....such as "Baby, "Don't you remember", "I'm melting", "Feel you", "In the right way" and "Lost".

Apart from playing at different venues, I've also participated in some TV music contests and performed as a dancer at the "MTV Music award 2004" (Eminem and Christina Aguilera show) in Barcelona. One of my last projects has been recorded in studio for the electronic sessions "Vocal Sessions League", in Madrid.

Nowadays, I am immersed in one of my purest projects I've done so far, "Miss Project". Our style is defined as a languid pop of groove and lounge, with some of new age, dance and electronic, very fresh and different.

Songs like "Friday", "Don't call me", "I gave him everything", "Free", "This morning", "A letter from my island" you can listen now......and more that we are about to release and eagerly waiting to perform live.
