I grew up learning South Indian classical music (Karnatik) and listening to the Beatles, the Carpenters, Henry Mancini, Michael Jackson, to name a few. I've trained on the veena (Karnatik) with some great performing artists of India. I've been writing songs and poems since I was 12 and now make a living composing songs, jingles, signature tunes, background scores and playing all stringed instruments like the veena! I don't have any rule book when I compose, I just go with the music! Most of the time, it might not be where you think it ought to go
