ABAGA Records was originally formed to create an outlet for Scotland's flourishing dubstep scene. Founders Tactus, The Mighty Cornelius and Camphor Haze have been releasing music through the label since early 2008, and have recently signed Dunt, TeKlo and Subshot, aiming their bass heavy music at dancefloors around the world.

Since its inception, ABAGA Records' promotional methods have operated from a grassroots level. Fanzines, flyers, stickers, radio play, club nights - all have been subtly designed to grab you by the baws and drag you into their darkly dubstep sound. Plays on BBC Radio 1 and by big DJs have affirmed ABAGA Records' status as a forward thinking label.
